All RESERVATIONS TO THE INCA TRAIL MUST BE MADE WITH AN AUTHORIZED OPERATOR since independent trekking is not permitted. The cost can vary significantly from one operator to another. Prices typically range from $500 to $1,000 or more per person for a standard 4-day hike. Deluxe packages can cost even more.

Duration of the route

The cost of the classic Inca Trail is around $600 and $700 for 4 days and 3 nights. However, there are also shorter treks, such as the 2-day Inca Trail which costs $400 to $500 or alternative treks such as the Salkantay Trek, which can be more economical options when the Inca Trail is not available.

Time of year

The cost can vary depending on the time of year you decide to visit the country. The high season for the Inca Trail is usually from May to September, when the weather is drier and more stable. Prices can be higher during this period due to high demand, and permits can sell out quickly.
