PERU ITINERARY 8 DAYS - LIMA - SACRED VALLEY - MACHU PICCHU & PUNO
This 8 day itinerary describes the activities per day in each place during our travelers’ stay in Peru. Bigboot Machu Picchu can arrange this according to your budget and preference. We can book hotels from 3 to 5 stars, book the most convenient domestic flights, tour guides, train tickets, and all entrance fees for each archaeological site. We can also organize meals such as lunches and dinners during your activities or stay in our country. During these 8 days in Peru Bigfoot Machu Picchu will take care of your travel program. Day 1 – Arrival in Lima, Peru. Half day private tour in Lima
Welcome to Peru! Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your comfortable hotel to relax.
After settling into your hotel, enjoy a private city tour of Lima, highlights include a visit to the historic center, the Larco Archaeological Museum and Casa Aliaga, the longest continuously owned colonial house in the Americas.
Day 2 – Lima – Cusco
Traveling from Lima to Cusco, you will have gone from sea level to 11,500 feet. Upon arrival in Cusco you will be transferred to your hotel in the Sacred Valley, a place with a moderate altitude and a pleasant and warm climate. En route we will visit Sacsayhuaman, an Alpaca farm and Pisac.

Day 3 – Machu Picchu Private Tour
Departing from Ollantaytambo, enjoy a scenic train ride through the Sacred Valley to the village of Machu Picchu. Discover the secrets of Machu Picchu during a guided tour of this Inca citadel. You will visit the most important parts of the ruins to learn how and why they were built. After the tour, departing from Machu Picchu village, enjoy a scenic train ride to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival at the train station, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Cusco. Check in at your hotel.
Day 4 – City tour Cusco
During the day we will visit most of Cusco, the capital of the Inca empire, you will visit the local market of San Pedro, the Koricancha, one of the most important Inca temples (the walls were once covered with gold) and the cathedral of Cusco where you will see the art school of Cusco.

Day 5 – Cusco – Puno
At an appropriate time, you will be transferred to the Cusco airport and board your flight to Puno, traveling from Cusco to Juliaca you will have gone to an altitude of over 12,560 feet. Upon arrival in Juliaca you will be met and transferred to your selected hotel.
Day 6 – Las islas del Lago Titicaca
Su primer dia de exploración del lago Titicaca lo llevara a las islas flotantes de los Uros, donde las familias locales construyen no solo sus casas sino también barcos e islas enteras de juncos. A continuación, visitaras la isla natural de taquille antes de continuar hacia la lujosa y privada isla Suasi, donde pasara la noche
Day 7 – Lake Titicaca at Isla Suasi / Lima
Disfrute de una mañana tranquila en la Isla Suasi. Tendra tiempo de sobra para dormir y desayunar tranquilamente, or ir a explorar la isal antes de regresar en barco a las ciudad de Puno
A ultima hora de la tarde, sera trasladado al aeropuerto de Puno a tiempo para su vuelo de regreso a Lima. A su llegada a Lima, y tras recoger su equipaje, solo tendrá que salir del aeropuerto y cruzar la calle hasta su hotel en Lima, el Wyndham Costa del sol.
Day 8 – Lima International Departure
In the morning you will only have to cross back to the airport and check in for your flight when necessary.
