On the first day, you will travel to Machu Picchu on the Expedition, and visit the Inca citadel in the afternoon which coincides perfectly with the quietest times in Machu Picchu. Be part of the guided tour in Machu Picchu by the time day trippers have left the Inca citadel. At the end stay, overnight in Machu Picchu Aguas Calientes and return the next day in the morning this allows you time to explore Machu Picchu, Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain.

  • 4:30 AM – 5:00 AM: Hotel pickup in Cusco.
  • 5:00 AM – 7:30 AM: Drive to Mollepata, a quaint town in the Anta province.
  • 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM: Savor a delectable breakfast at a local restaurant in Mollepata.
  • 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM: Continue the journey to Soraypampa, a charming village nestled at the base of Humantay Mountain.
  • 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM: Embark on the trek to Humantay Lake, a captivating 1.5 to 2-hour hike.
  • 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Arrive at Humantay Lake and soak in the awe-inspiring vistas of the turquoise waters and the majestic mountains. Receive insights from your guide, take photographs, unwind, and immerse yourself in the natural beauty.
  • 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Descend to Soraypampa.
  • 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM: Relish lunch in Mollepata.
  • 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM: Return journey to Cusco.
