We had the most incredible experience at this retreat center, and we are so grateful that we had the opportunity to experience both the Ayahuasca and San Pedro retreats together as a married couple. From the very first day, we felt incredibly welcomed, cared for, and safe. Every person we met there contributed something special to our experience, and we truly want to thank the whole team from the bottom of our hearts. A very special thank you to Tatiana for her delicious breakfasts — everything was always so fresh and tasty! She is such a wonderful person, and we also absolutely adored her daughter. She is such a sweet and lovely little angel. ❤️ Tatiana also took wonderful care of our room every morning, making the bed and keeping everything clean and cozy. It made us feel so comfortable and at home. We are also very grateful to our driver, who was always punctual, friendly, and reliable. The car was always clean and comfortable, and every transfer between our accommodation and the retreat center went perfectly. It made everything so easy and stress-free. A huge thank you to our translator Andrés. He was absolutely amazing throughout our Ayahuasca experience. He was always nearby, explaining everything in detail, answering our questions, helping us understand what was happening, and making sure we felt comfortable. When I became emotional and started crying during the ceremony, Andrés was there to calm and support me. He also constantly offered us tea or fresh juice, shared fruit with us, and was always happy to help. His kindness and presence meant a lot to us. We would also like to give a very special thank you to Maestro Nicolás. He played an important role in my Ayahuasca experience and helped me tremendously when I was going through a difficult emotional moment. He used flower water to help calm me, sang beautiful songs, and stayed present until I felt better. I will always remember that kindness. And, of course, a huge thank you to Maestra Lucy — what an incredible, radiant woman! ✨ She accompanied us during our San Pedro retreat, and we absolutely loved spending time with her. We laughed so much, took countless photos, listened to her beautiful songs, and simply enjoyed being around her wonderful energy. She made our experience even more special. A special thank you for the amazing massages! We loved the massage during our Ayahuasca retreat, and were so happy to receive another one as a gift when we returned for San Pedro. Such a thoughtful gesture! ❤️ Our San Pedro retreat was an unforgettable adventure. We walked through the forest to a beautiful waterfall, surrounded by incredible nature, and it was such a unique and magical experience. We were absolutely amazed by the beauty of the place and came away with so many beautiful memories. The retreat center itself is incredibly cozy and peaceful. One of our favorite things was the night sky — it is absolutely breathtaking. 🌌 The stars looked unreal, almost like a painting. Sitting by the fire, warming up, looking out over the huge meadow, and simply being present in that moment was something truly special. The garden is also beautiful, with so many unique and fascinating plants. There is something very peaceful and magical about the whole place. Our room was warm, cozy, and comfortable, which was especially nice after spending time outdoors. And we have to mention the food during the San Pedro retreat! Everything was delicious, but the pumpkin cream soup was definitely one of my favorites, and the fresh pineapple juice was incredible. 🍍 Looking back, we feel incredibly grateful for these experiences. We came for the retreats, but we are leaving with beautiful memories, new perspectives, wonderful photographs, and a lot of gratitude for the people who made these days so special. Thank you to the entire team for your kindness, care, patience, and warmth. We truly felt looked after throughout both retreats. It was an extraordinary experience. The welcome we were given and the accompaniment for the ceremony allowed me to make the most of my two ayahuasca experiences. I recently did a 5 day Ayahuasca retreat at Ayaterra Center. I am very pleased with my retreat. My personal experience was good, ayahuasca ceremony are quite intense and the experience can differ from person to person but in my experience to achieve a proper ceremony there other factors involved and it was not just about drinking the medicine and purging to get in the state of trance. Ayaterra Center offered good facilities, the surrounding are beautiful and peaceful. Living in midst of the mountains gave me peace and energy. It was perfect to take the long walks in the afternoon breaks and before the ceremonies to gather my thoughts. The rooms at the center are clean  and the beds are comfortable, Tatiana (house keeper) makes amazing breakfast with fresh ingredients. As for the actual ceremonies the Shaman Master Nicolas guided me well. I had Jose and Andres coordinators are both very fluent in English and very aware of needs of new participants and supported me really well during my ceremonies and my overall stay at the center. I've been called to do this for years, and I'm so glad I waited until I found the right place. From the moment I booked, the communication was excellent. Andres was incredible, his English was great, which made everything so much easier. He explained exactly what to expect, the timings all ran to schedule, and I always felt fully informed. The shaman Master Nicolas didn't speak English, but having Andres there to translate everything throughout made me feel completely at ease. The property itself is beautiful. Incredible views, quiet, and you can just go for a walk and be in your own space. Exactly the kind of environment you need for this kind of inner work. What I really appreciated was how they introduced the medicine gradually, I did 5 days with 3 ceremonies (1 day rest after 2 days sitting with the medicine) starting with less on the first ceremony, building on the second, and the third being the most profound experience. That approach meant I could genuinely let go by the final ceremony in a way I don't think I would have been able to otherwise. And a special mention to Tatiana for the food, nourishing, delicious, and exactly what your body needs during those five days. I booked a small group but ended up being the only one there, and I'm genuinely grateful for that. Just me, the team, and the process. The support didn't stop when the ceremonies ended either, Andres prepared me for what to expect afterwards, which matters more than people realise. I couldn't recommend Ayaterra enough. My husband and I attended a 4-day Ayahuasca and San Pedro retreat, and it was such an incredible healing experience. The first night there was one other guest, a very kind man, and the rest of the retreat was just the two of us. We felt deeply cared for the entire time, and the shamans held such a safe and sacred space for healing. If you are high-maintenance or looking for a trendy, luxury-style retreat, this may not be the place for you. But if you are seeking a genuine healing experience that is deeply connected to the earth, with healthy meals, amazing guidance, and powerful medicinal ceremonies, I highly recommend this retreat. I felt so held by the staff at Ayaterra. Andreas, Masters Lucia, Nicolas, and Tianna cared for me with such detail. Our ceremony outside by fire with two other retreatants, gave me gratitude, being in a tribe as the ancients. I feel deeply connected. We had a beautiful experience here at Ayaterra - my husband and I stayed for 3 days and were completely taken care of the entire time. The experiences themselves were extremely special, the hosts, staff, Shamans, and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The center itself is located in a very beautiful valley, and the facilities are very comfortable, with beautiful scenic views all around. Vielen Dank für die tolle Erfahrung :) Wir nahmen an einer Ayahuasca Zeremonie Teil und blieben eine Nacht. Die Begleitung vor, während und nach der Zeremonie war ausgezeichnet, der Ort sehr schön und wir können das Retreat nur empfehlen. Für Personen ohne Erfahrung in diesem Bereich würden wir einen längeren Aufenthalt empfehlen, da die Ayahuasca Zeremonie sehr intensiv ist. Es war ein tiefgreifendes Erlebnis.
