Machu Picchu Ticket Prices 2026
For 2026, the Peruvian Ministry of Culture has approved the following promotional rates for Peruvian citizens, foreign residents in Peru, and citizens of the Andean Community.

Which Machu Picchu Tickets Cost More?
The higher-priced promotional tickets are the routes that include some of the major additional hikes:
- Route 1A – Machu Picchu Mountain: S/112 adult
- Route 3A – Huayna Picchu: S/112 adult
- Route 3C – Great Cavern: S/112 adult
The standard promotional adult price for Routes 1B, 1C, 1D, 2A, 2B, 3B, and 3D is S/64.
Are Machu Picchu Tickets Free for Children?
Children under 3 years old enter free of charge.
The official minor rate applies to visitors from 3 to 17 years old who qualify for the promotional tariff.
Minors must enter accompanied by an adult.
How Much Is the Student Ticket to Machu Picchu?
For eligible visitors under the 2026 promotional tariff, student tickets cost:
- S/32 for the standard routes.
- S/80 for Machu Picchu Mountain, Huayna Picchu, and Great Cavern.
You must meet the official eligibility requirements and present the required student documentation.
Does the Machu Picchu Ticket Include the Train?
No. Your Machu Picchu entrance does not include transportation to Aguas Calientes.
The train is booked separately.

No. The shuttle bus between Aguas Calientes and the Machu Picchu entrance is also separate from your entrance ticket.
